Bangladesh Society SC proudly organizes cultural, national, and community-focused
events throughout the year. Our programs bring together families, children, youth, and seniors to celebrate Bangladeshi heritage while strengthening our presence in Canada.

Independence Day – March 26

A patriotic celebration honoring the sacrifice and bravery that led to Bangladesh’s independence. Our program includes: ● Cultural performances ● Patriotic songs ● Children & youth activities ● Speeches and tributes

Victory Day – December 16

A day of pride and remembrance, celebrating Bangladesh’s historic victory in 1971. Highlights include: ● National songs ● Dance performances ● Inspirational presentations ● Community recognition

International Mother Language Day – February 21

A heartfelt observance dedicated to the Language Movement martyrs of 1952. Our event features: ● Ekushey remembrance ● Poetry and recitations ● Children’s cultural activities ● Language awareness programs

Bangla New Year – Pohela Boishakh

A vibrant festival celebrating new beginnings. Programs include: ● Traditional music & dance ● Art and craft activities ● Food stalls & local vendors ● Community cultural showcase
